“Ladies and gentlemen, presenting the pride of Bethel Park. The Bethel Park High School Black Hawk Marching Band."

This is what junior Camryn Priddy hears on Friday nights in the fall while marching on the west side of the football field smiling at the crowd.

Camryn said, “My favorite thing about being a Bethette is marching down the field with my friends and seeing the smiles on the audience's faces.”

Camryn is a hard-working student between her classes and activities. She maintains a GPA of 3.6.

Along with Bethettes, Camryn participates in Homecoming Committee, TLC (Teen Leadership Corp), Vernissage literary magazine, yearbook, and newspaper.

This is Camryn’s first year writing for the paper. When asked what she planned on writing, Camryn said, “I plan on writing about events going on around the school.”

Camryn took Scholastic Publications because she thought it would be a fun class.

Along with managing school and activities, Camryn is also a hostess at Eat n’ Park.

Camryn is an avid reader and writer. Her favorite class is English because she says it’s a class that comes naturally to her. Her favorite teacher so far has been Mrs. Williams because she liked her creative writing class.

After high school, Camryn plans to attend Kent State where she will study elementary or middle education.

Along with reading and writing, Camryn also enjoys spending time with her friends and her dog, Stewart, who her family calls Stew.

When asked what her favorite song was, Camryn said, “I don’t really have a favorite song, but I love Harry Styles. I like his fashion and the generally good energy he brings to the public.”

When asked who inspires her, she said, “My mom inspires me… she is a really hard worker and a positive person.”
