Important dates, times for seniors

BPHS is wrapping up the 2022-2023 school year.

Last week, senior awards and local scholarships were given out. Tons of seniors were awarded and recognized for their great achievements.

Carter Kickski was formally recognized for being class valedictorian and Mira Weston for being salutatorian.

The National Merit Scholarship holders, Clara Moir, Katharine Tena, Jeon Varghese, and Lucas Varley, were recognized.

The spirit award winners Addison Hill and Lauren Heh were recognized as well.

Friday, June 2 was the senior’s last day of school.

The senior clap out’s are fast approaching, happening on Tuesday, June 6.

If a senior went to Ben Franklin Elementary School, the clap out is at 1:30 p.m.

All the schools are very excited to congratulate the seniors, who started in those very halls.

On June 8, the seniors will graduate. Ticket holders will be able to enter between 5:30- 6:15 p.m. General admission is available from 6:15- 7:00 p.m. for others who want to come to see graduation. The ceremony will be held at Black Hawk Stadium.
