For a long time, movies have been an important part of American pop culture.  Some of the best movies are able to convey messages that are timeless, emotional, and moving. However, there are only a few that really stand out.

So, to honor some of these powerful movies, here is a list of the top 10 best movies of all time ranked by box office success:

  2.  The Shawshank Redemption (1994) with 7 Oscar nominations
  3.  Schindler’s List (1993) winning 7 Oscars
