It’s never too early to start thinking ahead. Throughout the school year, BPHSl offers students many opportunities to learn about two-year and four-year colleges, various technical programs and trade schools, and options within the armed services…
One of the biggest opportunities is the South Hills College and Career Fair hosted at BPHS.
It takes place on Oct. 3 at 6 p.m
“This is just such a wonderful event for our families, and we are blessed to have the space and the parking to pull off an event of this scope, not to mention a very supportive staff and administration,” Mr. Bruce said. “We would be crazy not to take advantage of all those things to provide this opportunity for our families.” (Mr. Cromie, bpsd.org).
Over 2,00 students are predicted to be there. All the surrounding school districts, including Baldwin, Peters Township, and Upper Saint Clair are expected to be in attendance.
100 plus vendors and various different schools will be attending.
In order to register, please use the Strive Fair QR code pasted below. This will serve as a digital business card, which will allow representatives from schools to keep track of who is interested in their school.
Senior Mason Timms went to the fair last year.
“It really helped me see how many colleges there were and what each school had to offer,” Timms said.
Emma Thimons, another senior, said, “ I am very fortunate to have an opportunity to get such a productive start to my college search and because of it I have now had successful results.”
This is one of the best opportunities for students to get a great head start on their future career search! Consider coming to the College and Career Fair.
