The Hawk Eye tree is decorated with bulbs filled with newsprint clippings.

It’s Christmas time once again, and that means it’s time for the annual DECA tree auction. Every year, DECA hosts the Christmas tree auction where clubs sign up to decorate a tree sponsored by a local business from the BP Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are sold by club members for $1 apiece, and they get put into the drawing for the tree of their choosing. Winners will be chosen on December 21.

There are a total of 20 trees. Some of the clubs that have trees are: PACS, DECA, STAND, Art Club and even Hawk Eye.

SGA was nice enough to purchase trophies for the winning two trees. The awards are Judges’ Choice and Peoples’ Choice.

Also, Bethel Park TV, hosted by Mr. Amrhein, did a feature on the trees, which can be seen here.
