Ana Winowich, Features Editor
“If the world was going to collapse at any moment you would find me on vacation somewhere tropical, relaxing with state-of-the-art, oven-baked pizza. I would be beside my family and my best friends taking in our last few moments together.”
These are the words of second-year journalist Ana Winowich, who is a bright, intelligent, and thoughtful young writer. Ana is in 11th grade and is always thrilled to come to school to participate in her favorite classes, English and history. Miss Winowich claims she will bring excellent and entertaining material to this year’s newspaper and yearbook.
After high school, she plans on going into something journalism or media/marketing related. She mentioned that her dream college is Penn State.
Ana’s goals this year are to become the best version of herself, improve grades, work harder and do better in school.
When Ana isn’t writing, she is practicing for her next tennis match or perhaps dreaming of going to Italy or parts of Europe, or maybe she’s practicing her violin for her next chamber orchestra concert. Whatever it may be, Ana is always on her toes and ready to take on the next step.
Her favorite part about tennis is playing doubles and talking to her tennis coach who she claims is “helpful and pleasant.”
Miss Winowich claims that her main inspiration is her mom. Ana reasons, “I admire my mom the most, I’ve always admired her and how hard she works to provide for my family. She does a lot and I am extremely grateful for her.”
