BPHS fall play, Peter Pan, debuts on Thursday

The cast of the BPHS fall play will perform Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie in the auditorium on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The cast has rehearsed for more than two months after school every day to prepare for this performance. Miss Falce, the director, has reached out to a large number of students and teachers for this performance including Jordan Wiltanger, the Art club, and Mr. Wallisch (who all created the artwork for the play), Mr Derby and the stage crew, and of course Amelia Heastings the student director.

To promote the play, the cast has created several short videos that were posted on the fall play Facebook page, and they hosted an event at the Bethel Park Library to increase interest in the book Peter Pan as well as the production itself. As a final promotion, on Friday Nov. 14, it is dress like a pirate day at BPHS with the option to dress as a real pirate or wear Pittsburgh Pirates gear.

With weeks and months of hard work poured into this production by both the cast and crew, Bethel Park is in for a treat with this year’s fall play production.
