First Senior Send Off a hit

As senior year winds down, the usual things occur: announcements about senior projects, finals, and graduation parties. However, something new happened this year for seniors at BPHS.

Senior Sendoff is a fun-filled night involving food, music and games.

Senior Stacey Kazalas said, “I liked how most of the student body was there and how they had different games and activities.”

The parents of the Seniors came in to set up and bring in the food, about which senior Haley Bowen said, “I liked that the parents could decorate for their kids.”

In the gyms, there were basketball games, ping pong, floor hockey, and a dodgeball tournament. Jason Barrett said, “The dodgeball tournament was the best and brought the Senior class closer together.”

Some of the students suggested that a few changes take place for next year. Brittany Porzio said, “It would have been cool if Dr. J made a speech in front of the students and parents.”

Another senior suggested that “they have a dance room in the yoga or wrestling room.”

Also, most of the Senior class said that the Send Off was too long and that it should be shortened a couple of hours.

The Senior Send Off seemed like a huge hit. Hopefully, the administration will bring it back next year.
