15-year-old internet sensation Jojo Siwa is coming to BPHS on Saturday, March 30.

JoJo spent many years on “Dance Mom’s” and became a fan favorite. However, her fame did not really take off until she was featured in popular videos, and when she made her own music videos. Some of her songs include: “Boomerang,” “D.R.E.A.M.,” “Hold The Drama,” “Only Getting Better,” and much more. JoJo is set to go on tour beginning at the end of May.

Accompanying JoJo to BPHS will be some Broadway performers, plus one of “Dance Mom’s” judges Rachelle Rak will also be in attendance.

This event will allow people to dance in front of professionals and receive instant feedback to help them get better. However, in an interview with The Almanac, Rak made it clear that this event is not at all a competition. She said, ” Everyone gets invited and there are no trophies. This will also help educate the parents, who aren’t dancers and don’t know how to handle rejection.”

As Rak said, there will be no trophies as awards. However, what they are planning to award may be even better. According to The Almanac, “…dancers will be given honors that allow them to further their dance education, including a weekend-long invitation to the Broadway Dance Center, a week-long Broadway workshop in Manhattan, and a three-week long, $3,000 scholarship to Studio School Los Angeles.”

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at BPHS. However, doors will open at 10 a.m. Be sure to get tickets and not to miss out on this amazing opportunity.
