The heat has been turned up on the girls’ basketball team, and one could say they enter Tuesday night’s playoff game with a full head of steam.

The game is set–the Lady Hawks will play the Penn Trafford Warriors at Baldwin at 6:30 p.m. What’s at stake? The season. Win or go home.

What are they up against? Penn Trafford is a team that is 12-10, so while they have a winning record, they are certainly beatable with 10 losses.

The Hawks are 16-6, so statistically they are the better team.

The Hawks have the look of a good team as they share the ball well and space out well.

Their defense is solid and they look to be a formidable opponent in the playoffs.

These ladies are a scrappy team as  they grind out wins and fight through losses, and they are a constantly improving team.

This game looks to be but the first step into bigger things for this team.
