The Lady Hawks had a home game against Baldwin on Monday, Feb. 6. The Highlanders and Hawks were all tied up at the end of regulation. The girls’ varsity team came out on top after the first overtime, winning 62-54.

The Hawks recognized their two seniors Justina Mascaro and Becca Rodriguez before this game.

Their two seniors were their leading scorers with Becca Rodriguez ending with 24 and Mascaro with 23. Rodriguez hit six three-pointers, half of them in overtime, helping the team to victory. Mascaro scored two three-pointers and played awesome defense.

The girls’ team will play West Mifflin on Thursday, Feb. 9 for a non-section game.

They will find out when, where and who they will play in the playoffs next Tuesday.
