Freshman Anastasia “Annie” Myshakina is a current freshman at BPHS and first-year Scholastic Publications student. 

She enjoys watching “The Shining,” the 1980 horror classic. And who doesn’t love an ’80s favorite?

She joined because she enjoys writing and wants to expand her type of writing in Scholastic Publications. 

When it comes to “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” she is Team Conrad! “I just think that Conrad is more realistic than Jeremiah,” she stated.

When it comes to animals, she has described her spirit animal as a Deer! 

She also enjoys photography, and her favorite writing style is opinion writing! Some of her hobbies include reading and art. She plans to expand on her writing skills in this class.

When it comes to the “Twilight” debate—Team Edward or Jacob?—she proudly sides with Edward.

If Starbucks or Dunkin,? she prefers Starbucks. Her favorite drink is the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, a fall classic. 

She plans to put forth her best effort in the class and toward projects.

If she had to pick a famous person to eat dinner with, it’d be Lana Del Rey! “‘Cause I’m the biggest fan of Lana Del Rey, Top 0.1% on Spotify!”
