In a hard-fought divisional game for the AFC North, the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1) defeated the Cleveland Browns (1-5) at Acrisure Stadium with a final score of 23-9.
This comes on the heels of a well-deserved bye week following their victory during the historic Week 4 game in Dublin, Ireland.
While the Week 6 victory credit should partially be given to the special teams unit of Pittsburgh, highlighted by Chris Boswell‘s continued case as the NFL’s best kicker, many other players made significant contributions.
Notably, the team’s starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, showed out, as he threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns caught by Connor Heyward and DK Metcalf.
Although shifting to the other end of the ball, the Pittsburgh defense also played a pivotal role in this victory.
Jalen Ramsey and T.J. Watt continued to demonstrate why they’re arguably the heart and soul of the team.
Even in defeat, for the first time in a long time, there is hope for Cleveland fans.
Players in development, such as Dillon Gabriel, Harold Fannin Jr., and Quinshon Judkins, have now become crucial parts of the team’s offense.
