On Friday, Jan. 19, the boys went into Peters Township looking for an easy win, but that didn’t happen as they were down by six at halftime.

The Hawks turned things around in the second half though and finished on top. The final score was 54-43.

The high scorers were sophomore guard Ryan Meis with 17, junior guard Alex Mullen with 11, and senior forward Justin Meis with 10.

With the win, the Hawks improve to 5-2 in the section and 8-5 overall; they are currently 3rd in Section 2 6A.

Their next game is against USC at The Nest on Tuesday, Jan. 23 (JV at 6 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m.).
