The Bethel Park Shop ‘N Save has been experiencing some short staffing issues recently. As a result, the store is hiring lots of people in all departments. If you are interested, here are some of the requirements and an overall job description. You need to be at least 16 years old to work at Shop N’ Save

Cashiers

In this job position, you will scan people’s items and handle transactions that deal with cash, debit, credit, checks, food stamps, etc.

Bagger (aka lot attendant)

In this job position, you will get carts from the cart corrals in the parking lot and return them to the front of the store entrance. In addition to getting carts, you will also be required to pack groceries into people’s carts, empty out the trash cans from around the stores and lot, clean up spills when needed, and stock bags when they are low.

Other Departments

Produce, Bakery, Deli, Meat, Floral, Dairy, Stock, and Seafood all require you to be at least 18 years old before they will even consider hiring. These job descriptions are going to vary based on what department you want to work in.

Customer Service

This job requires you to be at least 18 years old. In this job position, you will be helping customers with various needs, making sure all front-end employees get breaks, supervising employees when management is not present, and counting all the money from the tills.

Beer and Wine

In order to do this job position, you must first take classes that instruct and train you on the responsibility of selling alcohol, and you must be 18 years of age or older. It is a Pennsylvania law.
