5 best things to do during quarantine to cure your boredom

Let’s face it, staying inside your house all the time is very boring. Here are some things you can do so that you do not lose your mind.

  1. Go for walks around your neighborhood. On a nice day, a classic neighborhood walk can be very fun because you get to see the scenery along the way. It also passes lots of time. Set a walk tracker on your phone so you can see how far you walk.
  2. Start an exercise routine. Never had time to exercise? Now you do. Start with simple exercises and work your way up to harder ones with more reps. Some good exercises to start with are pushups, situps, curls, and running for cardio. You will realize that over time you will feel better because you will be physically fit.
  3. Learn how to cook. There are many easy recipes you can learn to make in a matter of minutes. All you need is a stove. It is really fun, especially if you are a person that loves to eat.  It is healthier than eating out also because of less grease and calories.
  4. Sleep in. Take advantage of the time off from school and get an extra two hours of sleep or more than you would from getting up for school. More sleep means a better day ahead.
  5. Plan what you are going to do after quarantine is over. This is probably the most exciting thing to do because you can just imagine the fun things that you will do when life finally returns back to normal. For example, go golfing, hang out with friends, go to the mall, go see a movie, sit down and eat at your favorite restaurant. The list is endless.

Hopefully, these things will keep you busy during such a hard time, but just remember things will eventually be back to normal even if it takes a couple of years.
