BPHS students talk date night

It’s another Friday night, and couples throughout Bethel Park are looking for something to do.

A few students at BPHS were willing to offer some suggestions.

Haley Radcliffe had many great ideas. She said eight months with her boyfriend, Tyler Smith, has given her many nights thinking of what they should do. To start off, going to the local theater, Carmike Cinemas, is an easy date idea for any length relationship. Also, just going on a walk on the Montour trail, or a jog if you’re up for it, is a good way to spark up some conversation.

Megan Fedkoe, with similar ideas, suggested going for a walk on some trails, or even going to get some ice cream at Bruster’s or Dairy Queen.

Kara Brunner had some ideas that you might say are out of the normal. She mentioned that most high schoolers do not have a lot of money, so you need to date on a budget. With fall coming right around the corner, she said it would be the perfect time for some picking apples, going to a farmers market, or stargazing.

Although you might not be able to find some apple trees in Bethel Park, you can certainly take a drive over to Trax Farm. On the other hand, there is a farmers market every Tuesday, 3 p.m. till 7 p.m. at St. Thomas More, and stargazing can happen in your backyard.
