Hawk Eye

Never fear, Brooke Worrall is here to “spice up” Hawk Eye with her sassy self! At least that is what she said when she was asked about what she hoped to bring to our ever growing school newspaper.

Brooke is a 9th grader who wears a lot of black, listens to punk rock, and plays violin, guitar, and piano. Don’t forget her artistic abilities! When she has time, she draws, paints, and whatever really fills the empty hole that is boredom.

She is very ecstatic to be writing for a physical newspaper. Brooke really enjoys to write fiction, so joining Journalism and becoming a part of the newspaper came as an easy choice for her. Although, she did say, “I was influenced by a swag rapper [Mr. Allemang].”

Brooke has come a far way since locking herself in the bathroom in kindergarten because she forgot how to spell her name. (She kept forgetting the ‘e’.) She now aspires to become a lawyer and move to Maine, but that is for the future.

For now, she hopes to not fail this year. This fourteen-year-old is armed with words.
