Album of the Week: Future Hearts

Album: Future Hearts

Band: All Time Low

Release Date: April 7, 2015

All Time Low is the epitome of pop punk. And now, they’ve released another hit of an album.

The album was released this week and features the punk vibe the band has always had, with their pop twist (which they’ve often cited Blink 182 as an inspiration).

Future Hearts consists of 16 tracks, and follows their 2012 album Don’t Panic.

For those who are not familiar to the band, let me give you a comparison point. All Time Low could easily be a Simple Plan/Blink 182 love child.

The album’s genre is solid pop punk, and the the band has kept that sound since they started. I’d note “Kids in the Dark” and “Something’s Gotta Give” as key tracks.

Most of the tracks were released early, and could be streamed before its release on iTunes or on the shelves of many stores.

I have a love for All Time Low, but I can only give this album a 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact that it’s the same sound they’ve been putting out for years. Comfort is good, but nothing that could give this 5 stars.
