It’s that time of year. Senior athletes are officially announcing their commitment to colleges. This is especially the case at BPHS. Senior Bella Coleman, a guard on the varsity girls basketball team, recently committed to continue her basketball career at Waynesburg University.
Q & A with Bella:
Q: Why did you choose this school and basketball program? What stood out most to you?
A: I really liked how small and close the school was. The coaches were very welcoming, and I really like their style of play. I think just how nice the coaches are and how they got to know me stood out to me the most.

Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to younger players who dream of playing in college?
A: Always work hard, in and out of practice and take advantage of all the different opportunities given to you
