Owen has been playing lacrosse since fifth grade and started off playing goalie. Peters has a niche as a goalie and played up during his middle school years.

Peters has been playing varsity lacrosse since freshman year and started for the Hawks in the playoffs that year.

During the 2021 season, Peters, in 16 games, had an outstanding season with 182 saves and a 62 save percentage. With these statistics, Owen won All-WPIAL, All-Section, and All-American.
