After the Bruins’ 2-1 win against the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4 on Tuesday night, the Bruins will have a chance to eliminate and sweep the Hurricanes on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. in Carolina.

The Carolina Hurricanes are on the brink of being eliminated by the Boston Bruins for the first time in their first Stanley Cup Playoff appearance in franchise history.

When the Stanley Cup playoffs began, the Bruins started their mission to capture their seventh Stanley Cup.

In Game 1, the Boston Bruins won by the score of 5-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.

In Game 2, Boston fed off the hometown crowd and won by the score of 6-2 to take a 2-0 series lead.

In Game 3, Boston silenced Carolina’s hometown crowd to a 2-1 win to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

When Thursday night comes around, the Bruins will try to sweep the Carolina Hurricanes in four games and inch closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
