Two teams haking hands after game 6 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals

After the Blues 2-1 win in double overtime against the Dallas Stars in Game 7 on Tuesday night, the Blues will play the San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Final of the Stanley Cup playoffs Saturday, May 11 at 8 p.m. in San Jose.

The Blues eliminated the Dallas Stars in seven games to advance to the Western Conference Final.

The Sharks eliminated the Colorado Avalanche in seven games to advance to the Western Conference Final.

When the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs began, the Blues started their mission to capture their first Stanley Cup.

In Game 1, the Saint Louis Blues won by the score of 3-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.

In Game 2, Dallas rebounded and won by the score of 4-2 to tie the series at one game apiece.

In Game 3, Saint Louis silenced the Dallas hometown crowd and won by the score of 4-3 to take a 2-1 series lead.

In Game 4, Dallas fed off of the hometown crowd and won  4-2 to tie the series at two games apiece.

In Game 5, Dallas silenced the hometown in Saint Louis and won 2-1 to take a 3-2 series lead.

In Game 6, it was do-or-die for Saint Louis as they rebounded and won by the score of 4-1 to tie the series at three games.

In Game 7, it was a winner take all battle in Game 7 as Saint Louis won in double overtime by 2-1 to advance to the Western Conference Final.

When Saturday night comes around, the Blues and Sharks will collide in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final, as both look to take the other down and inch closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
