Hawks volley Thomas Jefferson on March 22.

The boys volleyball team triumphed over Seneca Valley in a 5-set dual on Thursday, May 2. Their undefeated streak is still standing tall at a current record of 13-0.

The comeback was real for the Hawks. Overcoming a 2-1 deficit in sets, they won two straight sets to claim the victory.

Senior outside hitter Max Cooley finished the game with 20 plus kills and the game winning strike. Senior middle hitter Mason Bussard added in 15 kills.

“The energy in the student section was great last night, but we are going to need more students at the game when it comes time for playoffs,” said Bussard.

Students were at the game and participated in wearing jerseys for the theme of Jersday Thursday. Storm Squad went into full effect after the teams shook hands, and BPHS students celebrated with the team.

The Hawks are set to play Fox Chapel at home for Senior Night on Monday, May 6. Make sure to come out and support our seniors!
