Blue Jackets host Bruins in Game 3 with series tied

After the Bruins’ 3-2 loss in double overtime against the Blue Jackets in Game 2 on Saturday night, the series, tied at one game apiece, now shifts to Columbus for Games 3 and 4.

In Game 2, the Bruins got a goal at 12:10 in the first period from defenseman Matt Grzelcyk to give Boston a 1-0 lead. They held their lead into the second.

Columbus responded at 18:57 of the second period from Artemi Panarin.

Boston broke the tie with a goal from David Pastrnak a minute later.

Columbus came back and tied the game at 2-2 when Artemi Panarin got his second goal of the game heading into the third period.

No goals were scored in the third period forcing the game to overtime.

With 16:19 left in double overtime, Matt Duchene buried the rebound giving the Blue Jackets the 3-2 win.

In Game 1, the Boston Bruins won by the score 3-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.

In Game 2, Columbus won by the score 3-2 in double overtime to tie the series at one game apiece.

Now the series shifts to Columbus for Games 3 and 4.

When Game 3 comes around, both teams will be trying to take a 2-1 series lead.

Game 3 faces off on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Nationwide Arena.
