After disappointing 2-1 overtime loss against the San Jose Sharks on Sunday night in Game 6 to even the series at three games apiece, the Golden Knights will have yet another chance to move on to the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs Tuesday night at 10 p.m. at SAP Center in San Jose.

After finding themselves in a 3-1 hole, the Sharks have swum back and look to carry their momentum into Game 7.

When the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs began, the Las Vegas Golden Knights started their mission to capture their first Stanley Cup.

In Game 1, the San Jose Sharks won by the score 5-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.

The Golden Knights then won three games in a row. In Game 2, they won 5-3 in San Jose to tie the series. The series then shifted to Vegas for Games 3 and 4.

In Game 3, the Golden Knights were ignited by a raucous hometown crowd in Las Vegas and won 6-3 to take a 2-1 series lead.

In Game 4, the Golden Knights shutout the Sharks 5-0 and took a commanding 3-1 series lead, giving them a chance to eliminate the Sharks in just five games.

However, Game 5 was do-or-die for the Sharks. They fed off the hometown crowd in San Jose to snatch a 5-2 win to cut into the Golden Knights’ series lead.

In Game 6, still a do-or-die for the Sharks, even though the Knights had the home crowd in their corner, they pulled out the 2-1 double-overtime win to even the series at three.

When Tuesday night comes around, the Golden Knights will have one more chance to move on to the second round of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If not, the Sharks will move on to the second round and the Golden Knights’ season will be over.
