After an impressive 2-1 shootout win against the Nashville Predators on Thursday, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins four-game road trip will continue with a stop in Dallas against the Stars on Saturday, March 23 at 8 p.m. at American Airlines Center.

The Stars are just finishing up a five-game homestand that began with a 2-1 loss against the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday, Mar. 15; a 3-2 shootout loss against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday, Mar. 17; a 4-2 win against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday, Mar. 19; a 3-1 loss against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday, Mar. 21; and ends with a matchup against the Penguins on Saturday, Mar. 23.

The Stars are now 38-30-6 and are in fourth place in the Central Division.

After Saturday, the Pens’ four-game road trip will conclude in New York against the Rangers on Monday, Mar. 25.

The Penguins are now 40-24-11 and are in third place in the Metropolitan Division.

When Saturday night comes around, the Pens and Stars will meet for the second and final time this season. These two teams last played in Pittsburgh on November 12, 2018, in which Pittsburgh won that game by the score 5-1.

Even though the Penguins still have injuries to Zach Aston Reese, Olli Maatta, Evgeni Malkin, and Chad Ruhwedel, it should be an entertaining game on Saturday night in Dallas as the Penguins look to win two games in a row and move two points ahead of the New York Islanders and one point behind the division leader Washington Capitals and inch closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
