After an impressive 5-1 win against the Montreal Canadiens on  Saturday night, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins will face off against the Florida Panthers on “90s Theme Night” Tuesday, Mar. 5 at 7 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

Fans are invited to wear their best 90s-inspired attire and enter to win Penguins Jerseys. The game night presentation will also include numerous video and musical elements from the 1990s.

The Panthers just finished up a two-game homestand that began with a 4-3 overtime loss against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, Mar. 2; and then ended with a 3-2 loss against the Ottawa Senators on Sunday, Mar. 3.

Now the Panthers begin a two-game road trip that faces off Tuesday night in Pittsburgh against the Penguins.

The Panthers are now 28-26-11 and are in sixth place in the Atlantic Division.

The Penguins just finished up a three-game road trip that began with a 5-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday, Feb. 26; a 4-3 overtime loss against the Buffalo Sabers on Friday, Mar. 1; and it ended with a 5-1 against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, Mar. 2.

Now the Penguins come back to PPG paints Arena to begin a two-game homestand that faces off against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday, Mar. 5 and ends with a match-up against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday, Mar. 7.

The Penguins are now 34-22-9 and are in fourth place in the Metropolitan Division.

When Tuesday night comes around, the Penguins and Panthers will meet for the third and final time this season. These two teams last played in Florida where the Panthers won that game by the score of 3-2 in overtime on Feb. 7.

Even though the Penguins still have a lot of injuries to deal with, it should be an entertaining game on Tuesday night as the Penguins look for their second consecutive win and inch closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
