Coach Burke talks to her team during a timeout in the Lady Hawks’ game vs. Peters on Jan. 28.

For the third time this year, the Lady Hawks will face the Peters Township Indians. But, this time it is for a chance to win the WPIAL title…

The game will be held at Canon-Mac High School on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m

So far, the Lady Hawks are 1-0 against the Indians at Canon-Mac.  The Lady Hawks played the Indians for a fourth time last year at Canon-Mac for the PIAA playoffs and defeated them 44-35.

The Lady Hawks are 21-2, and their only losses are to the Indians. Both times were close games, but the Hawks came up short. Neither of those rounds though were to advance to the WPIAL Championship.

“This round is most important, we have a game plan and I believe it is going to work,” said sophomore guard Olivia Westphal.

Tickets at the gate will be $7. Tickets purchased in the Athletic Office are $5.

Please come support your Lady Hawks as they hope to advance to the WPIAL Championship!

Let’s go, Lady Hawks!
