After a disappointing 3-0 shut-out loss against the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins begin a four-game road trip that faces off against the Philadelphia Flyers for the NHL Stadium Series at 8 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly.

The Flyers just finished up an away game against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday, Feb. 21 in which the Canadiens won that game by the score of 5-1.

Now the Flyers begin a two-game homestand that begins with a rematch against the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday, Feb. 23 and ends with a match-up against the Buffalo Sabers on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The Flyers are now 28-26-7 and are in seventh place in the Metropolitan Division.

The Penguins just finished up a home game on Thursday night, in which the Sharks shut-out the Penguins 3-0 in Pittsburgh.

Now, the Penguins begin a four-game road trip that begins in Philly for a rematch against the Philadelphia Flyers Saturday, Feb. 23; Columbus Tuesday, Feb. 26; Buffalo Friday, March. 1. and ends in Montreal Saturday, Mar. 2.

The Penguins are 32-22-7 and are in third place in the Metropolitan Division.

When Saturday night comes around, the Penguins and the Flyers will meet for the third time this season. These two teams last played in Philly on Feb. 11, 2019, in which the Penguins won that game by the score of 4-1 to lead the season series 2-1.

Even though the Penguins still have an injury to Olli Maatta, it should be an entertaining game in the NHL Stadium Series in Philadelphia as the Penguins look to get back in the win column and inch closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
