After an impressive 4-2 win against the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins will face off against the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.

The Devils are currently continuing their three-game homestand that began with a 4-1 win against the Buffalo Sabers on Sunday, Feb.17; and now continues with a match-up against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, Feb. 19; and will end with a match-up against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday, Feb. 21.

The Devils are now 23-28-8 and are in eighth place in the Metropolitan Division.

The Penguins just finished up a three-game homestand that began a 3-1 win against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday, Feb. 13 followed by a set of back-to-back games that began with a 5-4 loss against the Calgary Flames on Saturday, Feb. 16 and ended with a 6-5 win against the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon Feb. 17.

The Penguins are now 31-21-7 and are in fourth place and are tied with the Columbus Blue Jackets in points (69). They are two points behind the Washington Capitals for second place and are seven points behind the Metropolitan Division leaders the New York Islanders.

When Tuesday night comes around, the Penguins and Devils will meet for the fourth and final time this season. These two teams last played in Pittsburgh on Jan. 28, in which the Devils won that game by the score of 6-3.

Even though the Penguins have an injury to Olli Maatta, it should be an entertaining game on Tuesday night in New Jersey as they look for their second consecutive win and to move ahead two points and be tied with the Washington Capitals and five points behind the New York Islanders and that much closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
