After an impressive 3-1 against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins continue their three-game homestand against the Calgary Flames Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

The Flames are just finishing up a four-game road trip that began with 4-3 shoot-out loss against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, Feb. 9; a 6-3 loss against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday, Feb. 12; a 3-2 shoot-out loss against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday, Feb. 13; and now ends with a match-up against the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday afternoon on Saturday, Feb. 16.

The Flames are now 34-16-7 and are in first place in the Pacific Division.

The Penguins are continuing their three-game homestand that began with a 3-1 win against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night on Feb. 13;  continues with a match-up against the Calgary Flames on Saturday afternoon on Feb. 16; and ends with a match-up with the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon on Feb. 17.

The Penguins are 30-20-7 and are in fourth place and are tied with the Columbus Blue Jackets in points (67). They are four points behind the Washington Capitals for second place and are seven points behind the Metropolitan Division leaders the New York Islanders.

When Saturday afternoon comes around, the Pens and Flames will meet for the second and final time this season. These two teams last played in Calgary on Oct. 25, 2018, in which the Penguins won that game by the score of 9-1.

Even though the Penguins have injuries to Olli Maatta and Justin Schultz, it should be an entertaining game on Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh as the Pens look for their third consecutive win and to move two points ahead of the Columbus Blue Jackets and that much closer to winning the greatest trophy in all of sports, the STANLEY CUP.
