Vincent Vituccio smiles for his senior pic.

Vince Vituccio, a senior at BPHS, is this week’s “Athlete of the Week.” He is the captain and a forward on the varsity ice hockey team. His efforts on and off the ice contribute to this recognition. Vince was recently nominated for Player of the Month in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL) as well for his play.

Q&A with Vinny

How many years have you played hockey for? Nine years

What is your favorite hockey moment? Beating teams that make fun of the orange cages

What are your plans for the future? Hopefully, attend the naval academy or do a Navy ROTC program for Penn State

What activities do you take part in when you’re off the ice? Golf, volleyball, youth group, and violin

Favorite food? Chicken parm and spaghetti

Favorite color? Blue

Favorite NHL team? Pittsburgh Penguins

Favorite subject? Physics
