After a disappointing 5-2 loss against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins will face off against the Arizona Coyotes on Friday night at 9 p.m. in Arizona as the Penguins continue their five-game road trip.

The Arizona Coyotes just finished a three-game road trip that went through Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary in which the Coyotes went 2-1.

Currently, the Coyotes are on a short two-game home stand that began with a match-up against the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday night and ends with a match-up against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night.

The Coyotes are now 20-22-3 and are in seventh place in the Pacific Division.

The Penguins are continuing their five-game road trip that began in Anaheim on Friday night that ended with a 7-4 win. Then, continued onto Los Angeles on Saturday night that ended in a 5-2 loss in LA, then San Jose on Tuesday night that ended in an another 5-2 loss against the Sharks.

Now, the Penguins travel to Arizona to face off against the Coyotes on Friday night.

The Penguins are now 25-15-6 and are in fourth place and are three points behind the Washington Capitals and Columbus Blue Jackets for the first spot in the Metropolitan Division.

When Friday night comes around, the Penguins and Coyotes will meet for the second and final time this season. These two teams last played in Pittsburgh where the Penguins shutout the Coyotes by the score of 4-0 .

It should be an entertaining game on Friday night in Arizona where the Penguins are looking to sweep the season series against the Coyotes.

The Penguins will still be without Zach Aston Reese, Patrick Hornqvist, and Justin Schultz, but the Penguins still have some great players that can step up for the team.
