After they won against the Arizona Coyotes 4-0 on Saturday night, the 5X time Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins will play the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Prudential Center.

The New Jersey Devils had an unexpected 2017-2018 start as they made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history and were eliminated by the Tampa Bay Lightning in five games. The Devils finished the 2017-2018 season with a record of 44 wins, 29 losses, and 9 overtime losses, which equated to 97 points and a fourth-place finish in the Metropolitan Division.

The Devils just finished up a brief three-game road trip that went through Ottawa on Tuesday ( L 7-3), Toronto on Friday ( L 6-1) and Winnipeg on Sunday ( L 5-2), and now come back home to host the Pens on Tuesday night. They are now 6-8-1 and in eighth place in the Metropolitan Division.

The Penguins are off to a great 2018-2019 season start and just coming off a huge win 4-0 win against the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night. They are now 7-5-3  and are in sixth place in the Metropolitan Division.

When Tuesday night comes around, the Penguins and the Devils will meet for the second time this season, then they will play each other again two more times, one in Pittsburgh on January 28 the other in New Jersey on February 19.

The Devils have some good players, so it should be an entertaining game on Tuesday night in New Jersey.
