Hawks leave last home game with a bang

The boys varsity basketball team won their last in-season game on Monday, Feb. 12 against the Central Valley Warriors. The final score was 78-69.

At the end of the 1st, the Hawks were leading 23-19. At halftime, the Hawks had the lead 43-40. At the end of the 3rd, the boys were leading 57-53.

The high scorers were junior guard Alex Mullen with 19, sophomore guard Ryan Meis with 16, senior Nick Bomar with 13, and senior Jake Nuttridge with 12.

“It was a good win and we hope to build on it before playoffs,” said Mullen.

The Hawks are now heading into the playoffs with a overall record of 12-9 and 7-5 section record.

The playoff brackets will be released later today.
