FAFSA’s doors are open.
Whether you are still looking for the home of your collegiate career or are committed to your dream school, all seniors know it’s time to start logging into FAFSA. All seniors need to complete the financial aid application if they are looking to lessen student debt later in their futures. But what happens if a student doesn’t know how to complete the 2025-26 application for federal student aid?
Come to the FAFSA Completion Workshop!
On Tuesday, Oct. 28, BPHS is hosting a night where students can receive hands-on help completing their 2025-26 Federal Student Aid. Multiple experts will be there to guide families through every step of the process. They will walk through how to make an account, what the best options are for students, and how to secure the best opportunities out there.
It will be held in the Academic Hub at 6 p.m. in our very own high school. Students and parents are both encouraged to come!
Students and/or parents are required to bring their own devices, in which laptops or tablets are recommended. Make sure they are fully charged!
Something new this year is that students/parents are no longer required to create their Studentaid.gov account before the meeting. But it’s still a great idea to set up the account beforehand in case it takes extra time to verify during the meeting.
To create a Studentaid.gov account, go to studentaid.gov/fsa-id to create an account. For questions, visit https://studentaid.gov/resources/prepare-for-college/creating-your-account for more information. Attention: Parents who already have a StudentAid.gov account should log in to the website because they might need to update their password.
If a student cannot attend, but the parent(s) can, the process for the FAFSA application will only be started, but will not be completed.
Registration is required for all who are interested in coming to the workshop. Register here for free!
Don’t miss this chance to get one-on-one assistance to ensure students are ready to receive financial aid for their upcoming college careers!
