In a very busy BPHS, a group of students is turning creativity into compassion.
Students in the full-year sewing class, in 3rd period, are making triangle bags to sell to the school. They will use the money they make from selling the bags and donate it to a charity.
The charity they will be donating to is the South Hills Pet Rescue, an animal shelter. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs of all breeds and needs.
The bags are made in different colors, themes, designs, and patterns. They are also reversible, so the bag may have two different looks.
Each bag costs $5.
The bags are in the sewing room, 119. They will also be sold at the Bean and Berry.
They will also be sold at the Arts Fest and Steam Expo on May 3. If you’re in the sewing room or the Bean and Berry, maybe consider buying one to help the animals!
