Students participate in Spirit Week in October.

After the many wishes made during Wish Week, now is the time for Spirit Week!

During the week of Feb. 22, students get to dress up in the themes sent out by Mr. Kszastowski for each day. No matter if you are hybrid or remote, you can still participate by having your camera on during classes to show off your school spirit!

The Spirit Week themes are:

  • Monday, Feb. 22: Lumberjack Day (flannels, jeans, boots, jean jackets, etc.)
  • Tuesday, Feb. 23: Hippie Day (shirts/pants like tie-dye)
  • Wednesday, Feb. 24: Dress Like a Teacher Day
  • Thursday, Feb. 25: Hero Day (this could be any kind of hero: athlete, superhero, person **remember no face coverings other than the appropriate medical masks)
  • Friday, Feb. 26: Groutfit

While staying home during hybrid or semi-permanently with remote, you can send pictures of your outfits to the yearbook or newspaper (Mr. Allemang/ @HawkEyeBPHS) or SGA (Mr. Kszastowski/ @bphs_sga)! We need all the pictures we can get during this crazy COVID year.

If you are present every single day or specific days for hybrid, SGA has special Spirit Week activities to do during lunch!

Monday and Tuesday: Participate in Among Us.

Wednesday and Thursday: Participate in http://skribbl.io/.

In addition, there will be a scavenger hunt every day this week.  At 2:30 p.m., SGA will post on Instagram (@bphs_sga) a hint for a location in Bethel Park. The first person to post a picture of this location each day and the best picture by the end of the week will win a $10 Amazon gift card.

We hope to see you participate and show your Black Hawk pride!
