ALL TOGETHER, all of the ensembles who performed in the winter concert sing peacefully on stage with some BPHS alumni.

On Wednesday, Dec. 19, BPHS had their annual winter concert. There were many ensembles who participated in the concert, including Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Girls Choir, Symphonic Orchestra, Top 21, and Symphonic Band.

All of the students’ hard work and dedication was finally on display. The tunes that they sang or played obviously consisted of Christmas music.

The BPHS auditorium sits 1,100 people, and it was packed to its full capacity. There were even people who had to stand. Everyone wanted to come and hear BPHS music.

Freshman Klaudia Menko, who is part of girls choir, said, “It was so peaceful watching concert choir come to the stage with their candles. I loved it.”

One of the coolest things that happened that night happened at the very end. All of the ensembles combined and performed many Christmas songs with one another. As a special treat, BPHS alumni came with the current students and sang together. The audience also stood up and sang with the kids too.

We hope to see you again next year! You wouldn’t want to miss it!
