It’s a new season at Kennywood.
Kennywood kicked off its 2026 season with new attractions, events, and food stands. With its annual seasonal opening on April 18, there were updates on the fan-favorite Phantom’s Revenge, new food stands, a festival celebrating its history, and the return of events that fans demanded.
As part of the celebration, the Phantom’s Revenge has marked its 25th anniversary this season. There is a new 25th anniversary logo in front of the trains, and the cars on the ride have new mixed-up colors. Guests can also hear new audios while waiting in line.
As part of the additions, there are two new food stands, the Big Dipper and Centennial Grille, in Lost Kennywood. The Big Dipper is serving dipped ice cream as it pays tribute to the old Dipper coaster.
The Centennial Grille is serving a meal that many guests over the year have been asking for: cheesesteaks.
There is also a new festival available for families to enjoy together, which is called “Celebrate Kennywood Weekend.” This activity will highlight the park’s history and feature exclusive menu items inspired by the fan-favorite potato patch fries.
Popular events like Bites and Pints, fireworks, drone shows, fall festivals, and Holiday Lights will also be making their annual comeback this year.
If you’re bored, go to Kennywood! On Memorial Day weekend, the water rides will be opening up, so cool down with Kenny! In fact you can save 45% on Kennywood Tickets as part of the park’s Memorial Day sale.
