This week’s Fantastically Fabulous Feature is being awarded to senior Emily Kramer for her outstanding educational achievements and her focused ambitions on being a medical doctor.

Growing up, Kramer has always had an interest in pursuing a job in the medical field. This being her fourth year in high school, she is even more focused on her career path as she continues to excel in multiple science and health courses that BPHS has to offer.

Kramer said, “As I’ve grown older, my interest in anatomy and medicine has continued to grow as well.”

In addition to Kramer’s dedication to her school work, she participates in tennis and lacrosse after school. Kramer is known for being determined and very ambitious from her friends, family, teammates, and teachers.

Her lacrosse teammate and close friend, senior Cameron Happe, said, “She’s very serious and knows a lot about human anatomy. Kramer is also super passionate about her studies.”

Forensics teacher Mrs. Camic added, “I think she would make a great doctor! Emily pays attention to detail in her work and she always turns in it on time. She is respectful towards both her classmates and teachers and works great with others.”

Once she enters the medical field after completing all the necessary education and requirements, Kramer expressed that her main concern will be on her patients and their well-beings.

“I want to make a difference and help improve the physical and mental health of patients every day.”

Although Kramer mentions that her last year in high school is bittersweet, she is excited for college and what future she is going to create for herself along the way. She plans on majoring in biomedical engineering at Pitt, Duquesne, or Ohio State University.

“My goal in life is to help improve the overall health of my patients and make an impact in their lives.”

Congrats to senior student Emily Kramer and good luck to you on your journey on becoming the next top medical doctor. We believe in you!
