Album Review: Adele’s ’25’

After taking a nearly 5-year break from producing new music, Adele is back and better than ever with her new album, 25.

In contrast to her previous albums, her newest release is less edgy, with a more prominent theme of apologies and sad goodbyes.

The album starts off with the single “Hello,” a powerful song highlighting Adele’s robust voice. The song was released in late October and quickly rose on the iTunes charts, reaching No. 1 in over 100 countries.

The second track featured on the album, “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” is similar to “Hello” in its theme of a bittersweet goodbye to a lover.

Another new song, “When We Were Young,” is the second single on 25. The sentimental song is one of the more popular tracks on the album, second only to “Hello.”

The album features 11 tracks, including “I Miss You,” “Love in the Dark,” “Water Under the Bridge,” and “All I Ask.” While these songs have not gotten as much recognition as the singles, they are well-written and beautiful songs that showcase Adele’s powerful voice.

This new side of Adele is certainly just as popular as the old one, and the young singer will certainly continue to grow in well-deserved popularity for this new album.
