BPHS custodian Dave Caracci waves to the student section after accepting the Service Award at the Homecoming Football Game on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018.

Everybody knows and loves the newest PACS Staff Member of the Month: Dave Caracci.

Famous throughout BPHS for his “Ooga-Booga” saying, students selected Caracci for the award.

Caracci has been working as a custodian at Bethel Park for years and is well-deserving of the award.

In an interview with him, this is what he had to say:

How long have you been working here?

32 years

What is your favorite memory here?

When they built the new high school

What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not here?

Go downtown, maybe go to car shows, and go to Pirate games

What is your favorite meal?

Meatloaf. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes

How much longer do you plan on working here?

I got three years and about seven months.

With a little under four years left on the job, make sure you stop and say hello to the friendliest janitor in the WPIAL: Dave Caracci.
