Student Art of the Week: Brendan Bailey’s Zebra

Brendan Bailey poses with his zebra painting.

Brendan Bailey, the future occupational therapist, is a very gifted artist. Bailey is a senior and is very experienced with his artwork.

When Mr. Wallisch gave Bailey this assignment, he wanted to do some sort of animal. The colorful, acrylic painting he created was a zoomed-in picture of a zebra.

He designed this painting off of the famous Andy Warhol’s Grevy Zebra.

He took about seven weeks to finish the final product. When asked what was your favorite part about this piece, Bailey replied, “I’m just glad it actually looks like a Zebra.”
