Important games include Week 2, where Pittsburgh meets the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Seattle Seahawks.
Both teams underwent significant changes in the offseason, most notably Seattle losing reigning Super Bowl MVP No. 9 Kenneth Walker III.
Hopefully, with a revamped offense now including No. 11 Michael Pittman Jr. and No. 13 Rico Dowdle, Pittsburgh uses this to their advantage.
Although a few weeks later, a game occurs that may be bigger, as Pittsburgh makes history alongside the New Orleans Saints in the NFL’s first game held in Paris, France.
Pittsburgh’s experienced roster meeting New Orleans’ young corps, flagged by No. 6 Tyler Shough, will create for interesting viewing.
However, speaking of quarterbacks, No. 8 Aaron Rodgers looks to redeem himself over Pittsburgh’s playoff loss back in January by facing the Houston Texans on primetime television.
Most fans assumed Rodgers’ 30-6 Wildcard Weekend loss would be his final NFL game; however, the 42-year-old signed a one-year contract to return for $25 million.
Whilst his comeback, the media has been torn, but it will nonetheless create interesting television.
Something that can always be said about Pittsburgh is that while fanbases have their opinions on the team, boring is one word that can not be used to describe them.
Why else would people be discussing, with the 2026-27 NFL season only months away, and how the defending AFC North Champions will fare?
