Anticipation is higher than ever for NFL fans worldwide as in Super Bowl LX, the New England Patriots (14-3) meet the Seattle Seahawks (14-3).
This comes after the AFC and NFC conference championship games, where the Patriots defeated the Denver Broncos (14-3) and the Seahawks bested the Los Angeles Rams (12-5).
The latter being a very entertaining affair as Seattle’s No. 14 Sam Darnold threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns on a 25/36 passing rate.
Alongside No. 11 Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who had 153 receiving yards for a touchdown, Los Angeles’ defense struggled.
Despite impressive performances from No. 9 Matthew Stafford and No. 12 Puka Nacua, the final score of 31-27 resulted in Seattle winning a very competitive game.
Not to forget, as well, the continuation of Darnold’s redemption story.
However, earlier in the day was a different story.
Offensively, the teams struggled with both their quarterbacks. New England’s No. 10 Drake Maye and Denver’s No. 8 Jarret Stidham did not have impressive stat lines.
Coinciding with the snowfall that became a factor late in the third quarter, neither team could produce.
Yet with a hard-fought defensive effort, New England went on to defeat Denver 10-7 as they head into their record 12th Super Bowl.
As Super Bowl LX approaches, the stage is set for what should be an exciting event.
Whilst Seattle is favored to win the game according to many sources, it is truly a game where anything can happen.
Nonetheless, be sure to be seated at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, as in Levi’s Stadium, the 25-26 NFL season comes to an end.
