After tying 0-0 with TJ last Thursday, the Hawks wanted to try and start another win streak.
They decided to take their shot and did not disappoint after defeating Trinity in a close battle Tuesday with a score of 2-1.
The game started off with a not-so-promising start. At halftime in the Nest, the boys were right on the Hillers’ tails, following closely behind at 1-0.
When the Hawks needed it most, Evan Chichwak brought home an incredible cross with the help of Adam Thompson, jumping the score up to 1-1.
They remained tied once the clock came down to zero. Our Hawks went into overtime, feeling hopeful that they could pull out a win.
When they needed it most, Luke Yimin seized his opportunity and scored a fantastic goal from 50 yards, ending the game with yet another win for the boys.
This was an inspiring win for all of those attending, especially those who came for youth night.
With another win added to their list, they are at a record of 9-1-1.
Now the Hawks are set to brawl with the Mustangs Thursday at Laurel Highlands at 7:30 p.m. The last time the boys faced them in early September, they won 2-1.
