Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl is an evenly matched contest with the Rams favored by three-and-a-half points. But there is a way for both teams to come out Super Bowl champions.

For the Cinderella-storied Bengals, here are the ways they can come out victorious.

They need Joe Burrow to play his absolute best game of the playoffs. He has had a great run in the playoffs, don’t get me wrong, but the Bengals need him to step up even more in this game. Burrow needs to find his star-studded wide receivers, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, quick so they can make plays for him and help the Bengals win.

The only way that Burrow will be able to find his guys is if the Bengals offensive line can stop one of the best defensive lines in the league. This is a very tall task for this porous Bengals’ OL. If the Bengals are able to stop the Rams DL, that will give the Bengals a major advantage in this game.

On the defensive side for the Bengals, they need to be able to stop the Rams stars, Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr. The Bengals defensive backs have played relatively good playoffs, but they need to be great in this game.

The Bengals DBs are led by Jesse Bates who is a great safety blanket for the Bengals who will stop everything deep that the Rams will try. If he plays lights out, that is another huge advantage for the Bengals in this game.

For the win-now Rams, here are the ways they can come out victorious.

Just like the Bengals, the Rams need their quarterback, Matthew Stafford, to play his best game as well. Stafford has been lights out in the playoffs and will need to continue that streak in this game.

Stafford just needs to find his playmakers in Cooper Kupp, who just won Offensive Player of the Year, and Odell Beckham, who has been a star ever since he has been in the league. If he finds these two targets often, and they are making plays often, that would give the Rams a major advantage in this game.

On the defensive side of the ball for the Rams, they need to let their three superstars do what they do best.

Aaron Donald, three-time Defensive Player of the Year, can do what he does best and that is basically everything that a defensive lineman does. He can stop the run when needed, but I don’t think the Bengals will be running that much in this game. He also can rush the passer amazingly too. He just needs to do these things against this porous Bengals’ OL and that would give the Rams a major advantage in this game.

Former Super Bowl L MVP Von Miller can do what he does best by getting to the passer often as well. He will most likely have multiple chances in this game to do that against this Bengals OL, and when he gets there, his goal should be to strip-sack the QB. In games like the Super Bowl, turnovers are the major factor that makes the difference, and that would give the Rams a major advantage in this game.

Jalen Ramsey, who is regarded as the best corner in football, needs to shut down Chase. If he does this, he will usually force Burrow to go to his second read often, and that is one thing QBs absolutely hate to do. This doesn’t mean Chase will not be targeted because it is guaranteed that Burrow will be throwing 50/50 balls to Chase, but if Ramsey wins the majority of those that would give the Rams a major advantage in this game.

This game is going to be a pass-heavy game, and whichever team comes out with better passing, their weapons playing well, and their defense being stout throughout the game, is who should become Super Bowl LVI champions.
