Steelers sneak by Ravens to remain undefeated
The Pittsburgh Steelers held on to defeat the Baltimore Ravens 19-14. This game was played on a bright, cold day in Pittsburgh. The Steelers’ defense yet again was too much to handle for the Ravens.
They held Baltimore to only 14 points and 219 yards the entire game. The Steelers’ defense had three sacks and a pick-six. Florida graduate Joe Haden got the pick-six. This defense is proving week by week that they are the strongest in the league.
The Steelers also had some help from the offense. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 266 yards and went 36-51 passing. Big Ben only had one touchdown to his go-to receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. Tight end Eric Ebron also had a great game with seven receptions for 54 yards.
Pittsburgh couldn’t really get the running game working at all this round, but when it came down to the final drive, Benny Snell Jr. got the job done. Snell Jr. only had 60 yards, but he got the game-winning first down to win the Steelers this rivalry game.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are staying home to play the Washington Football Team. The game will be played Monday at 5 p.m.
The Washington Football Team just came off of a big win on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys 41-16. Let’s see if the Steelers will continue the undefeated streak without star linebacker Bud Dupree, who has just torn his ACL.
